For all team building events, we have a number of local wilderness areas to choose from or you may choose a more remote location such as Manning Park and other select areas for an overnight getaway. Remote locations need additional time to coordinate so please plan accordingly.

This newest team building event is based on the popular reality program Man Tracker. The twist - this modified version places team against team.  One team takes off into the bush/trails on foot with a map, a compass and a head start. The trackers are on horseback, armed with a local guide. The prey team have a designated number hours to reach the finish line without getting caught. How they escape is up to them.

Set up in gymkhana style, this team building event has team riders show their leadership and communication skills in obstacle courses, races and relays on foot and on horseback, the main focus being on fun and horsemanship.

Groups are split into mini-teams whose goal it is to work together to complete the race in as little time as possible. Throughout the course, mini-teams will come across a variety of signs:

·         Route Markers hold clues to additional route information.

·         Road Blocks outline a specific task one person on each team must complete before moving on.

·         Detours give a choice of 2 tasks your entire team must complete before moving on.

At the conclusion of the race, medals and a trophy will be awarded. Results will be tabulated to determine both a mini-team winner and an overall team winner with awards.

At the beginning of this team building event, groups are split into small teams and each member of the team will assume a skill-based role that will aid the team in the successful completion of the event. Participants are encouraged to share the responsibilities and duties equally, including a Trail Guide, Packing Coordinator, Provisions Coordinator, Camp Coordinator and Kitchen Coordinator. Each team will be assigned one of our trained packers for assistance, a packing horse and gear and a horse for each team member. The team must design a trip plan, execute it, reach the destination and set up a wilderness camp utilizing their pre-designated skills.  The following day, roles may be switched for the return trip home.

This becomes a great opportunity to observe team behavior and to discover what your team needs most to function at the next level. This experiential learning program is a lot of fun!

Team building can be done in a non-competitive outdoor adventure and mingle day with something for everyone. Horseback riding, paddling on the lake, swimming, hiking to the falls and relaxing on the beach, all available on a one day sojourn to Alouette Lake in beautiful Golden Ears Provincial Park. Don’t forget the BBQ.

In addition to the event, we can coordinate full meal deals and or accommodations depending on your choice of event and location. Enquire about these and other possible add-ons.

A typical team building event or group activity requires an investment of as little as $65 per person. The investment level can vary due to a number of factors, the most important being group size. Other common factors that can affect the investment level for your event include: the location of your event; the season your event will take place in; and customization of your event.

Once an event is complete, many clients enquire about rewarding extraordinary service. Please note that a gratuity is not included in the above investment and is at your discretion.

While we do conduct events for larger groups of  50 or more, we mostly work with small groups of 20 or fewer.

Our events are designed to be scalable for all group sizes although some events are more suitable than others for larger groups. We are always happy to have an in-depth conversation with you to determine which of our events would be the best fit for your group.

Because we have fixed setup costs associated with some of the  eventswe run, minimum investment levels may be required depending on the location and date of your event. All have been designed, however, to allow less physically active people to take part.  We have a number of events that require a minimum of physical effort. It is important that you discuss the needs and abilities of your group in general, as well as any specific limitations of one or more of your group, so that we are able to suggest what would be the best fit for your group.

Our outdoor events are designed to operate in all weather conditions, and we have never had a client comment that the event was ruined by the weather. With proper dress the weather often becomes irrelevant. Occasionally inclement weather conditions actually IMPROVE the event by bonding the participants as they overcome the elements together.
